I had my coolant system flushed about 2 weeks ago...They used some sort of green coolant...

I had my coolant system flushed about 2 weeks ago...They used some sort of green coolant... Well 4 days ago my water pump went. I replaced everythign myself and I went to the dealer to get the parts... I open the coolant and its Red/Pink...It's OEM coolant and says Forumla G-30-90-EF on the front... Can someone shed some light? I had to mix them SLIGHTLY becaus ei didnt have enough distilled water...

Yes, they changed the coolant color about 1.5 years ago. You can mix the two Porsche coolants.

Is that weird that they put in green 2 weeks ago and sold me red 4 days ago? I know the dealers get it by the Barrel so i guess they still have old stock...

Thats exactly right. Thankfully its been raining alot here so my coolant hasnt been working as hard as the "OVERHEATING" drama of the last couple weeks......

Gator - the pink coolant goes into the female cars. The green coolant is for the male cars. Since you mixed coolant colors, your car is going to be bisexual!
