Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Use 2002 gt2' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use 2002 gt2' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

that's too high. there are two 2002 GT2s on Ebay with 100 (not 15k) miles on them being sold by dealers for $156k - though they're not having much luck. I'd think you be in the high $130s to low $140s for a 15k miles example.
they're on drugs. here are two 100 and 600 miles old 2002s for $156 "asking":

now if you have to option to spend that kind of money, which car would you pick. An 02 GT2 with 15k or a new turbo? personally I have never driven a turbo or GT2, so any info would help. Thanks
It depends on your driving style. I sold a TT to buy the GT2 because I felt the TT was boring, you merely steer and the electronics do the rest (an exaggeration but you get the idea.).
Put another way, if you're careful you can grow into the GT2, and if you're careful you will grow out of the TT.
In the GT2 you have to be fully aware at all times.
For me the GT2 is a whole lot more fun, and rumors about it are exactly that. If you search the archives and read them carefully you will find that the respect for the GT2 has grown significantly in the past year, and it's still growing.
Initially it got "panned" as being a beast to handle, but this was rumor and assumption spread by people who had never even driven the car. This rumor was also helped by the Dealers who marked the car up way over sticker, and thus made it easy for people not to like it, or gave them additional reasons not to like it.
The really good Porsche drivers (way better than me) lust after the GT2 (and the GT3), but for some it's not practical or in the budget.
Hope this helps!
used 2002 GT2
what should I expect to pay for a used 2002 GT2 with approx 15,000 miles on it?

wow duane, that's almost lower than the low calls i make, that get owners' dander up. it's reality tho'.
what is not mentioned is the colour. assuming great condition:
silver, seal, slate 126
black, SY, 122
red, white" 115-110
Keoni1978,
I drive mine about every 2 months or so, it's possible to use as a daily driver, but low kerbs have to be negotiated, and I would think that this would get quite tiresome.
The best use, to the track, on the track and (hopefully) from the track.
I guess it would depend on you as a driver. If you are asking the question and don't know the asnwer..and you have that kind of money ? I would love to be in that siutation.
All goating aside...
If it were me I would say GT2..
I have driven a TT and honestly the car is really nice but I deplore 4 wheel drive for a track/ performance car. To much push. Some could probably be dialed out but ultimately you deal with weight, brake wear, mechanical issues, ... bah get the GT2.
It seems like a great car... I would love to have the opportunity to have one.. drive one.. just covet one if my neighbors had one... heh..
that is a lot of money to be asking a bunch of yokels like us... if you truly have the coin...go drive em both and see which one suits you best...
to each his/her own...
mine personally ?
GT3 please..
