Suggestion
It just cost me another 30 minutes of my life to under eveything, put it back, and then replace the console back.

Suggestion
One under the mat in rear console, one behind the change holder, one under the plastic that is under the mat, one under the ash tray area under the 2 plastic screws, etc, etc, but the place I found that I forgot.............At the very front of the console under the front of the gear shift surround by the lower middle console.

Thanks Eric. This thing looks very elegant and sweet. The picture does not do it justice as Atlas Grey go a bit crazy with a flash bulb and some funky flash lines showed up in it. In person, it is very subtle, looks like a metalic black and blends in extremely well. I love the look. I am sure a daytime photo without the flash would be much more complimentary as Atlas Grey kind of freaks out under a flash.

BTW, a very easy DIY job in case anyone else is considering the same. Pretty cheap modification going through Eric and doing it yourself compared to what it would cost through a dealer and Eric's work is high quality. I did have the dreaded one screw left over. Don't you hate it when that happens.

I had the same 1 screw leftover. Just have to retrace your steps. One under the mat in rear console, one behind the change holder, one under the plastic that is under the mat, one under the ash tray area under the 2 plastic screws, etc, etc, but the place I found that I forgot.............At the very front of the console under the front of the gear shift surround by the lower middle console. At that point I just stared at the console and asked myself for 15 minutes if I really cared about that 1 screw. I did, b/c I knew it would bug me until I finally fixed it (didn't want to half a** the install on a $$$ car) Needless to say, I no longer need therapy since the screw was put back. It just cost me another 30 minutes of my life to under eveything, put it back, and then replace the console back.

It's scary how such an expensive car comes apart so easily, isn't it? I think taking apart my old Jetta and Eclipse was harder than anythin on my Porsche.
