Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I'm considering the x74 suspension and am looking for someone that has it installed that would be willing to give me a ride. I live in Campbell and occasionally make it to the Santana Row meets on Saturdays. Thanks! Andy

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No one in the bay area has the x74 option?

POST 4Original post

I have x74 on my 02 Coupe. It's fantastic. I'm in San Diego though. You'd be welcome to take a test ride if you happen to be in SD.

POST 5Original post

There is a car for sale at Silicon Valley Hummer on Stevens Creek in San Jose with X74 kit installed. Go test drive it and see what you think. I specifically recommend that you enter 280 by Lawrence and go south on 280 and exit at Winchester.....the road there is very uneven between the concret slabs of road and you will get a good feel for what it will be to drive the car on normal roads. Personally I was not impressed.... http://silicon-valley-hummer-los-gat...r-1420119.html My car has the M030 and I much prefer that one for normal road use.

POST 6Original post

no hijack here, but a short question... someone PM to tell me more about this Santana Row gathering I keep hearing about? thanks...

POST 8Original post

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

More info on Santana Row here: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=50520 Thanks for the info on the x74, but I'm still looking for someone to take me for a drive! Swede_Matt, I'm curious about the one at Hummer, seems like a pretty modded car. Porsche does not recommend the x74 for the pre-'02 cars. I'm wondering if the car is riding correctly. Andy

POST 10Original post

I have PSS9s installed in my '02 C2 if you are interested.

POST 11Original post

Andy, I agree with you. When I was driving it I was wondering if the X74 was supposed to feel that way. I felt like I was on a ship that was rolling....front to back rolling motion. I checked up on the car and I believe the X74 was installed by a very reputable place here in the south bay so it should have been done correctly. PM me if you want details and I'll be happy to share it with you.

POST 12Original post

I believe that was Alex911s car from 6speed. I actually almost became the owner of the x74 as he was considering taking it off prior to trading in the car. Our timing didn't work out so he traded it as is. X74 is supposed to be very stiff and very low. Very much intended for regular track use and not for and semblance of comfort on the street.
