The rear seatbacks in cab are definitely more upright - I assume this is due to the pop-up roll bar and space needed for top storage.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just drove a '01 Cab, let the search begin The question: the rear seats seem quite a bit less comfortable than what I remember from my '01 Coupe. Been 2 years but I dont remember the rear seat backs being so upright. I'm hoping (he's hoping) my 9 year old can still fit in tbe back for a couple more years. Any thoughts Oh yea, the drive was like eating Risotto

POST 2Original post

I drove both when I bought last fall but I dont remember a difference- however my 3 yr old rides back there and he didnt say much either way other than GO FAST!

POST 3Original post

I remember looking into this, cuz I needed space for the babyseat . I read that they are the same. thanks, Amir

POST 4Original post

back in cab is much more upright. Not sure if total leg room is same.

POST 5Original post

Yea the back seats in a cab aren't as comfy as the ones in coupe. I still make my boys sit back there though and given a choice of which car to take they almost always choose the P-car.

POST 6Original post

If you consider that you can take the top down and give the rear occupants unlimited headroom it helps to compensate for the poorer sitting position in the cabs. The other evening 4 of us went out to run the town in my cab and no one complained!

POST 7Original post

what back seat? it's way too small for people.... so i put on my sub box

POST 8Original post

Back seat is totally workable for quick trips around the city and no one complains about sitting back there and saving the cab fare. Mind you, I'll admit that a 5 hour journey to Montreal wouldn't be too fun.

POST 9Original post

the head room sucks in either one but the seats and room is the same

POST 10Original post

The rear seatbacks in cab are definitely more upright - I assume this is due to the pop-up roll bar and space needed for top storage.
