Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I now have to remove that wheel and re-work it, the ONR worked perfect on the other 3 wheels and I was kicking myself for using the Griot's crap !

I have the 32oz bottle of ONR so its will be over a year before I need to buy more, might try the Griot's next time around - wont be using the griot's wheel cleaner on the Fuch's again, works fine on the other cars

Try using vasoline to eliminate the splotchy look.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

OK I admit it, I have been driving the new car more than cleaning it. My work has these blasted trees that leave little tiny dots of crap all over the whole car, 2 DE's and a skills day, DD up and down the highway.... well it was time for a wash (a few weeks ago)
so I set up my 2 buckets and went after it thinking it would be a PITA to get all the crud off. Well it wasnt. ONR (whatever is in that stuff) just wiped it right off like it was dust. I never used ONR on a dirty (very dirty) car as I mostly washed the 996 too frequently to allow that to happen.
I gotta say I was/am impressed with how beautifuly the stuff works. So for you newbies out there with your new cars, lets not get out the hose and start drowning these cars, get yourself some ONR. I used about 3 gallons of water toatal and have enough in the wash bucket that I will wash my other 2 cars with (just new rinse water, 1.5 to 2 gal)
One last note, my wheels had a huge amount of brake dust and I thought I would hit them with Griots wheel cleaner. BIG MISTAKE! I now have to remove that wheel and re-work it, the ONR worked perfect on the other 3 wheels and I was kicking myself for using the Griot's crap ! (to be fair the wheels were warm so maybe that was the issue.... but it stripped off my Rejex and left the wheel looking blotchy and dry)
Cant wait to drive it today
Later!
To be fair, comparable Griots products like speed shine or waterless car wash wouldn't have done that to the wheels.
I discovered waterless car wash with ONR, but once on a sunny day I let it dry on the paint and it left some hard-to-remove stains, that I ended up buffing out. Very strange, and I couldn't find any reference online to that problem, but I switched to the Griots waterless car wash after that.
Ok - good point to know.
I was unaware that Griot's had a waterless car wash, I used to use Ziano's car wash but prefer the waterless now (mostly for dry time... there isnt any)

Ed,
I never used Rejex on forged Fuchs so I don't know how well it will bring it back. Try using vasoline to eliminate the splotchy look. Rub it in well by hand and then polish it with terry cloth.
