Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, I bought a Porsche roll bar to install.... and of course I started to work on it without even going into the house, just straight into the garage..... I removed the seats and put the roll bar in place but for some reason I feel that it doesn't fit 100% perfect... and I don't know why..... It's almost like I have to push the rear of the bars back hard so they could bolt in properly...? Have any of you done this install before and had the same experience? Just asking since I don't know if this is common..... At about 11:45 last night I called it quits, took a shower and went to sleep..... Well I started about 10 PM..... and I took my time since I didn't want to accidently scratch her..... -Eli

POST 2Original post

Lots of pushing and pulling, used a come-a-long to move the pipe to where I needed it to go. The first couple of connections are the easiest the last one is a real challenge to line up. If I remember correctly, I put the rears on first and then the fronts. Just take your time and you will eventually get to where you want to go.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Ray, I was getting a little ticked thinking that I was doing something wrong.... I guess it's part of the install.... I'll start part II of the install tonight if I get some time..... either way the M3 is joyed to get some miles out during the down time.... -Eli
