Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

23 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 2Original post

And knowing how the Greeks drive you probably did it on the road to Pirea My trip in 95 to Athens left me with an impression I will never forget. My cousin picked me up in his "modified" Toyota Corolla and managed to do 180km/h through the centre of Athens and he didnt batter an eye lid. That night I thought I was going to die. Top speed on a public road for me was ~160km/h going over the #$% %$# in Melbourne, first morning of owning my first porsche the 993. In the 996 I have only managed 145km/h on the &@)%$( freeway (Cant be too careful ).

POST 4Original post

319 km/h (indicated) with my good ol' 996TT (195'000 km on the clock!) Sorry, I only have a pic at 313... Greetings, --Pierre

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

and 183 mph = 293 klm/h on the analog for my 964 was taken at 2 o'clock at night on the M40 towards Oxfrord, on my trip back from Surrey, 15 miles be4 Oxford exit.....

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 10Original post

241kmh on the highway heading back into town....6 lanes, little/no traffic = canadian autobhan.

POST 11Original post

since this is a 996 thread: we went 246 kph (152mph) in a 2004 996 between berlin and leipzig this year in late march. I have photo which i can e-mail but I do not know how to upload/resize for rennlist. we went faster but it was unbelievably windy and a fairly crowded sunday afternoon. the tach read 5800 rpm's. needless to say i have been much faster in my 993tt...

POST 13Original post

Carlos, I guess you'll post an even better pic in a few months! --Pierre

POST 14Original post

I got up to 156 on this run last month. Ran out of road. It's only a 1.5 mile stretch. 5th gear.

POST 15Original post

you bet! wonder how far the 997S will go, but unless I have a 50kmh tailwind, I still won't beat yours!

POST 17Original post

I was 285 on the Canadian autobahn.............407, and i was 312 on my Bike...no pics sorry

POST 18Original post

^ haha..i never take the 407 anywhere. 1) i'm just that cheap 2) i figure the bacon knows that we think the highway is nice and empty so they're patrol heavier. 3) Actually there is no 2, thats about it really, cops and cash...hell, even if there were no cops i'd tear the **** out of that highway. btw what bike do u have?
