I did the SSK swap this past weekend (as well as a painted rear console) and it really is a great mod. It does take a little more effort, but the action in going through the gears is enjoyable. It makes it more fun for me!
This seems to be a consistent view. I am very excited to join the SSK club.
Quick question for folks:
I also ordered the EVO Shift Link, but am hearing mixed messages on this.
If anyone with real world experience with this has some thoughts, please share.

I recognize the same and thought it's just related to cold transmission oil; didn't think that the SSK adds to this. Anyway; the SSK should be on everyone's mod list!
I agree cold transmission oil also contributes to the feel. Also your leverage point is much shorter compared to the stock. Remember your physics class with the seesaw eqations.... I just remember the pics and not the formula. I am sure Tippy can tell us though.
I am sure I will Tim! I test drove a C4S with one installed earlier this year, and I really liked it. My only problem is that now I "HAVE" to get rid of that skinny stock shifter and get a sport shifter to really get the full effect. I will probably do the install next week while I am off, if I can get the temp above 40 deg in my garage...
OK, did the SSK install this morning and am very happy with the results! I also ordered a sport shift **** that should be here by the end of the week to round out the whole experience.
Tim - did a search on SSK installs and have to thank you for your "tips" in a previous thread, they made my install much easier, thanks!
