Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a fiberglass GT2 wing for sale on ebay, but a couple people asked me who made it. It has a part number 513-045-04, anyone have any ideas who the manufacturer is? thanks. -Phil Gilsdorf http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...em290192727277

POST 2Original post

Could it be a Misha wing? PM him (screen name 996wings ) and ask.

POST 3Original post

Looks like a Misha to me, but you could ask him directly, as he's a site sponsor.

Wayne, you are starting to think just like me. Be afraid.... be very afraid!

POST 5Original post

Its not a wing that they are selling right now, top part of the wing looks similar but the lower section is different... Misha's lower section is solid to the lid from the back, this one looks like it has an opening in it

Yeah, I know - scary that we were typing the same note at the same time.... although, I'll concede that your knowledge of Porsche mechanics is way beyond mine.

POST 7Original post

Quotes source post: 4899979

I would have to disagree. I am still a novice when it comes to Porsches.

POST 8Original post

Tim will keep you as the King..... That way the rest of us are at least novice

POST 9Original post

Hehehe. Most of us were novices until we came here.

POST 10Original post

That is not a Misha wing. His wing do not have an adjustable AOA.

POST 11Original post

Ray what do you think about the adjustable AOA

POST 12Original post

Quotes source post: 4900197

I'm not familiar with this wing or the mechanism they use but the concept is pretty cool. I wish my Misha wing was adjustable (although I have no complaints with it's operation).

POST 13Original post

Stuttgart, your e-bay post says it will fit all 996s. I don't think this is the case. It will probably only fit widebody cars (C4S & Turbo)

POST 14Original post

gotta say i love the 996 carrera 4s badge - perfectly fills out that rear section and i confirm this is not the misha gt2m wing. gt2m wing is a hybrid between the mk2 996 gt3 lower with the 996 gt2 top.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I checked out the Misha wing definitely looks different. Thanks for the tip on the fitment DallasC4S i'll check into it. -Phil Gilsdorf
