So last weekend I was driving along the Oregon coast and as I went around a corner a bird was flying low. No chance to swerve or slow down, bird hits in the smack middle of the front license plate. Sheers the plate, frame, brackets right off the front bumper. Thankfully no damage at all to the bumper. So I turn around and go retrieve the license plate and stick in the trunk. So until I can get it fixed, I legitimately have no front license plate. And if I get pulled over by a cop, I can show him my plate that has been sheered off, that has bird guts on it and feathers wedged between the plate and the frame. Talk about timing!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Wow, that's pretty strange. Why would you keep a plate with bird guts, etc. in the trunk? Won't it stink after a while? Adam
Keep the feather and wipe off the gut. Time for me to get some feather and mock my own bird run-in !! Thanks for the idea! That's original!
put it in a ziplock back..keeps it fresh..looks more real when pulled over!!
Hehe, I pulled some unidentified bird parts out of one of my inlets a couple weeks ago. Poof. Porsche: 1 Birds: 0
I too extracted a bird from the inlets. Yuk!
LOL !!!
