Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Now that I've decided to keep my car, I'm thinking of selling my 18" sport designs (7.5" front and 10" rear) and getting the GT3 wheels. Would anyone here be interested? I would only do it if I can get at least $1,000 for them.

POST 2Original post

When you say GT3 are you referring to the narrow body version of the MkII wheels?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah, I think so. These ones.

POST 4Original post

got any pics? also what do they weigh?? I might be interested.

POST 5Original post

What made you decide to keep the 996, just curious? I think it's a great car, you may never get 83k miles out of a new one, plus it would cost 90k to duplicate your car in 997 skin.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was only selling to make my move back to Canada easier (avoid the customs duty, taxes, etc), and also due to the fact that I won't be able to drive it for several months every winter. But selling it at under $35K was ludicrous. The cars runs better than when it was new, is in amazing condition, has a fairly new suspension, new brakes, freshly painted bumper covers, and has a full warranty until Aug. 2007. I'm sure this car will last me as long as I want it to. So, I'll keep it until my business does well enough for me to get something new again.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No pics just yet, but I'll try to take some later. As for their weight, I have no idea. They're two piece, cast wheels made for Porsche by BBS. Click here.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry guys. I should have checked the prices on the GT3 wheels before posting. I'm going to hang on to my wheels for now. New GT3 wheels are about $4,500 without tires.....Yikes!
