Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi I have been debating whether to change the front bumper on my 02 996 Cab Seal Grey. I like the looks of the TT Bumper, but is it worth it? How about the resale value? Any other technical or performance issues with the TT Bumper on the regular C2? Thanks

POST 2Original post

I say go for it... It is OEM anyways If you get the turbo front, I'd suggest getting the C4S lip if you don't plan on adding a wing to balance it...

POST 3Original post

Go for it! I'm in the process of installing a turbo front cover and turbo rear cover on my '02 cab. I love the look and as evo said, they're original parts. There was a seal gray TT front bumper cover avail. on 6speed a little while ago. Not sure if he sold it yet but you may want to check it out. I'll try and attach the link, if not go into the parts for sale area and look up user Babalu B. Cheers, Stan http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/s...threadid=36496

POST 5Original post

Stan, hows the rear turbo working out for you? Have you got it fitted and installed yet?

POST 6Original post

Don't really like the look on a NB unless it's a 40th, looks a little cobbled to me, can't help resale at all. JMO

POST 7Original post

My tech is going to start fitting rear while I'm in sunny Jamaica for the holidays. I'll let you know how it goes. Cheers, Stan

POST 9Original post

umm the 40th is a NB as well. how is this any different. a little porsche purist coming out? oops actually it's always out the turbo bumper looks good. much better than the wimpy oem c2/c4 bumper.

POST 10Original post

I prefer the gt3 bumper, perfect fit. If someone has a near new seal gray stock C2 bumper from 02-04, let me know

POST 11Original post

just ordered the GT3 for my 2002 C2 996 seal grey as well....searched and searched. it is the best selection for the car...suncoast had the best deal...

POST 12Original post

I wouldnt do the Turbo bumper, I would go with the GT3 bumper.

POST 13Original post

Ah yes Carlos I guess I am a purist. I must admit yours looks pretty damn mean. But, I'm afraid I'll have to agree with Justin(just this one time), I'd go with the GT3 bumper. One of the best looking Porsches is a MK1 GT3.

POST 14Original post

31 flavours....I find the GT3 front too similar to the stock '02 + years. For my money (and my car) the TT is the way to go.
