Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not really anything mind-boggling to post, just felt like taking a few pics after suffering outside today... Baby needed a bath after 800 or so miles through the rain, sleet, and cold this week. Washing in the shade is a must for me, but it really sucks in 40-ish degree weather!

POST 3Original post

I did mine last week but cannot face washing it again after the sleet and rain we had this week. I am going to drive her dirty!

POST 4Original post

Looks great. What kind of wing is that on the back? I have one on my car as well and was never sure what type it is.

POST 5Original post

Nice Looking car Nick. Just sold some similar wheels to go to BBS LM. Have you done the heated seats yet? Really nice as it gets colder!

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks BlackCab, Bill! Bill- the "mini" wing is made by Roock. I love it, since I was looking for something just a tad bit more than a lip that would also allow the standard functioning of the wing to take place. For my taste, it's perfect on a cab.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Dharn- I went with the Aero I's. I'm very happy with the result. As for the seats, I'm actually doing it next week. I went atermarket, though- just couldn't justify the difference in price. After getting the kit, it looks like I might actually be able to use the stock switchs. Waiting for some feedback from an EE friend before I'll know for sure though.

POST 9Original post

Remember that the Tip Switches are not just on/off, but need a relay. Also, they have two colors, red for high heat and yellow for low heat. I'm not an EE so I can't explain exactly how that works, but there is a two stage relay under the seat in the stock Porsche.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm with 'ya- the kit that I bought looks to have a similar relay. Not even going to try unless I see some EE proof first, though. Worst case, I can deal with the small round switches.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Would love to drop it with at least coilovers, but it's not in the cards- way too many steep entrances and driveways. I occasionally scrape as it is, so as a daily driver I can risk doing it more.

POST 13Original post

Oh well, it was worth a shot... What wheels do you have btw?

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Wheels are from NR auto- a "house" brand. Was considering a few different Champions and BBS RS-GT's and decided to order a single wheel from them just out of curiosity's sake to compare against the others in person. Ordered a silver color wheel and the "hyper black" that you see on the car to see multiple colors. When I compared them in person to the others, I was hooked on the hyper black- loved the looks, about 1/2 the price. Wheels are 18x8.5 and 18x10, weigh in a little heavy at almost 23 lbs and 24.5 lbs each, but I'm extremely happy with them. Usually when I go out on a limb like that, Murphy's Law kick's in. Guess the old adage about the sun and the dog's posterior holds true...
