Is anyone running cat delete pipes on their C2? I got some SuperSprint ones and put them on. We fitted the CEL fix for no CEL light. They were freakin LOUD!!! So I took them off and gonna put resonators in there. What have you heard about catpipes? What type of HP or TQ do they make? Would you do catpipes? Why or Why not?

I have a pair of fabspeed bypass pipes I put on for a laugh every now and then. They are rediculously loud. Can't say I felt any more power increase. But the loudness makes you think it's going faster

I agree. What I did like is that you could throw it in 5th gear and normally cruising they are quiet. As soon as you accelerate, you offend the world LOL. So no power gains. Nobody has dyno sheets?

Without any other mods, removing the backpressure on the exhaust will reduce low torque.

ok lets say COMPLETE system. Headers and exhaust. So now what do you say about replacing the catpipes. Do you have any dyno sheets showing the numbers? Got pics of your car BTW

I've dynoed my car with cats but no muffers and then no cats and no muffers. I did a write up about the impact awhile ago. You should be able to find it with a search. Mine was on a 3.6 x51. You can count on about 13 hp and similar torque. Jim
