Am considering putting a set of Blizzaks on my 996. What have you found to be a good style/source for 17" wheels that are good for winter use? (Don't need anything fancy. Would keep my 18" Sport Classic II's for summer.)

I agree with the ebay suggestion. I found a set of 17" Twists with Pirelli Snowsport 240's on them, in mint shape, for $400. I wanted Porsche rims (these are Italian coppies) because even though it's winter, I don't want to ride around on POS cheap rims!

I found a set of 17" 996 OEMs in good shape with Z rated summer tires on Craigslist. Paid $300 for all 4. Put blizzaks on them then sold the summer tires for $175. Total for 4 OEM's $125. Now keeping my 18" TTs safe and sound. Let it snow!
