I had fitted a GT2 wing on but wasn't happy with the quality/fitment so now I think I will go with the GT3 since it will complete the GT3 look anyways.

I actually thought about using EPOXY, but then that's permanent.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nudged those concrete parking blocks with the lip. Popped off 4 screws. Now lip looks slightly droopy. Can't push the screws back in because they have an expansion "inner screw", now it's too fat to go in the small hole. . Can't undo them so I hacked them off. Where can I get a replacement screw/fastener? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

Shoot me a PM with your address and I'd be happy to send you a few. I bought extra's since they were only like $.23 a piece. Or just swing by your local dealer 999 507 427 40 List $.23 ($.21 after 10% PCA discount)

POST 3Original post

The lip on my front spoilers been scrapping everything, the paint's already been cracked too. I love the look but it kills me everytime to hear it grind againt the concrete.

POST 5Original post

got any more pics of your car? mainly the from bumper. who makes it.

POST 6Original post

Chris, it that a good idea? Using steel would limit the "shearability" that Arthur experienced. Instead of breaking a $.23 piece of plastic you could damage your actualy bumper when it tears out. Any thoughts? Anybody know what the cup cars use? I assume the plastci rivets as well.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have metal screws with washers and bolts. Thought about using that, but then the idea of ripping the substance of least resistance/strength popped, and I stayed away from the dirty thought. I actually thought about using EPOXY, but then that's permanent.

POST 8Original post

Do a search on the GT3 forum. It has been discussed at length.

POST 9Original post

Arthur....just dropped em in the mail. Cheers, Dell

POST 10Original post

Im also using rivets to hold the lip. Makes the installation much faster and its holding up so far. Heres some more pics of her Karlooz. The front spoiler is an aftermarket spoiler. I had fitted a GT2 wing on but wasn't happy with the quality/fitment so now I think I will go with the GT3 since it will complete the GT3 look anyways.

POST 11Original post

hey thx for the pics. they look sweet. i like it better the oem gt3 mk1 bumper. is it fiber glass or plastic? who makes yours? i've seen them on ebay from precisionporsche.com.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Carlos, would you please describe the experience with StopTech brakes, please? From the moment you purchased them to date. Don't skip any details. Include, please, the modifications that had to be performed. Than you very much.

POST 13Original post

so far THEY ROCK! sorry haven't had real testing yet. when i mean real i mean track testing. i got them primarily for heat concerns when on the track. the stopping distances are supposedly a little better but not a whole lot. the whole point of these brakes, and any big brake kit for that matter, is to hold off the effects of heat. after the bed in procedure, i realized that in a straight line it's my tires that are the limiting factor not the brakes. with r-comppund tires, WATCH OUT! like hitting a wall i did the 70 to 5 mph 90% threshold braking about 3 sets of ten reps w/ cool down between each set. the brakes kept getting stronger and stronger with no ill affects. i find that it is easier to modulate at threshold too. it has to do with the bigger rotors and the slightly undersized (compared to oem) pistons. the bigger rotors allow for more torque with less pad pressure whereas smaller rotors need more pad pressure for the same amount of torque. i think this all leads to better modulation. going tracking next weekend, 2 day event. i'll give you an update.
