This is not a probability of success.

They lovingly helped me change the wheels for the the winter season.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well, after 8 years of denial, I finally had to accept that fact that the car is not really, a family car.
Sure, I had car seats in it. My two boys (now 10,6) fit perfectly in the back seat. They lovingly helped me change the wheels for the the winter season.
Their increasingly large stuff, however, began to protest while wedged in the cabin.
My dear, tolerant wife, grudgingly took my car on weekends where I needed to take the boys somewhere with lots of gear (i.e. Hockey practice).
But then reality set in. So after achieving the pinnacle of my automotive aspiration (8 years ago), and having enjoyed driving it immensely, today it went back to Porsche to find a new, doting owner.
The upside, if there is one, is that while I am now a truck-driver, at least I am still a Porsche driver. And while not as pure and feral as the 911, at least the Cayenne has cup-holders.
Cheers, mates, drive fast and don't look in the rear view mirror.
Cayenne is a great vehicle!
Best handling SUV on the road and the brakes are awesome as expected from a Porsche!
Although my wife hits me every time i refer to it as a "truck"

I agree, they would be great garage mates. I saw the car today when I picked up the ipod cable - it looked lonely! At this point, I am a 1 P-car family. Could be worse (mini-van...)
What's the deal with the Cayenne forum? Should I be afraid?
Anyone need 19" sport designs with good treads?
Cayenne forum is filled with both great information and total BS. Read with many grains of salt. Worst offender is one of the moderators who seems to take great pleasure in sarcasm and criticism combined with nuggets of knowledge - you'll find him. Enjoy your new Cayenne and I hope yours gives you the same satisfaction and reliability as both of mine have.
