Leading evidence: 'Run extra $300 or so' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run extra $300 or so' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all
I have a line on a 01 996 TT front bumber cover, i am curious to know if it will fit on my MY 04 C2. Any info or advise would be great
Thanks in Advance?
Paul T
Yes, it will fit. I had a TT bumper on my 2002 and it works but the bumper reinforcement has to be cut by about 2 inches per side (no big deal at all). If the cover doesn't include any of the parts, price them out carefully before making any decisions. I can help you with the install Paul.
Thanks Alon, I will take you up on that offer............in the spring way too much to do Lowering , Aerokit, TT bumber, man i will need all the help i can get, Let me ask you something Alon, Should i just let Phaff Do the Aerokit, MY salesguy told me that alot of the factory kits were coming off from the factory (sideskirts) and that they had a way of urathaning them on.Anyways maybe we can get together this weekend for a coffee. Your that man always offering to help.
Thanks
Given a choice between their body shop and other high-quality/great reputation shops in Toronto, I wouldn't think twice about taking my business elsewhere. No offense to Pfaff Autoworks but you do have choices. As far as urethaning the skirts on, that's no big deal at all and any competent body shop can manage that. Lowering? No problem, I can help. TT bumper? No problem, I've done two of them. So if you go with the TT nose, it is worth getting the TT lower fender liners as well for two reasons:
1- they fit better than modifying your stock lower fender liners to fit
2- they have grills built in to provide added cooling for brakes/radiators (and they cost less than $230 for the pair from the dealer)
What other body parts are you going with? I assume the newer side skirts (like the 2004 GT3) and what tail/decklid?
If you really like the Aero kit cars, why not call your sales guy and trade your car back in for that Arctic Silver Aero Coupe that Pfaff has sitting on their lot? It's a brand new, unsold 2004 C2 Aero (GT3 look-alike) with some red interior parts (belts, stitching, aluminum shifter/brake handle, etc) and painted console, seat backs, etc.
I tried that, but I was told i drove my car alot for the first year, so i wouldnt get a good trade in value. Really i think they did me a favor, because the next car i get should be a TT, so I'll wait an extra year befor i trade up. To be honest i like working on the car and doing the mods...keeps the car new, and you know as well as i do, we get bored with cars so everytime we do mods , the car feels new all over again.........Your with me right? I'll always take your advice when comes to what and how to do the car so ..I'll order what ever you tell me too.....EXCLUDING AND NOT LINITED TO: CGT.......GT2....GT3!!
As to your question.. Yes Newer GT side skirts, and the Aerokit wing...
You're too much and yes, I know what you mean. The newer skirts literally just glue in place with urethane (like the windshield seal) and the rear decklid is also easy to install. Why not just get the Aero nose as well? Is this TT bumper such a deal even with the cost of all of the grills and other bits?
Yea I like the look of the TT bumper cover, I think the GT3 is very nice, just not all that different from the current one, however the TT is much different looking and very aggressive. The deal I got on the bumper cover was a very very good deal.
I like the TT front bumper as well. I don't have any pics of my current car (although you know what the 40 Jahre looks like) but here are some of my last car:
