11k gentile miles on the '02 Carerra. Intermediate shaft broke and ruined the engine. Porsche will replace with used block and new internals. Oh well. Anybody experience this?

Never heard of that problems, but it is another reason not to drive these cars "gentle". Or since you used the word "gentile", maybe they were NOT meant to be driven by people of the Christian Faith.

Yeah, make that "gentle". My spelling is off today for sure. Gee, if I had known... I could have had a lot of fun with those 11k miles!
