Suggestion

Will You will Have to remove the covers to remove the rubber seals around it, i think there is 2 pressure plugs one that is off heat cant hurt, and use fishing line, it seems to work the best.

You might have to pry under it with a long flat knife. The tape may be too strong to get off with string.
