Hey. I was thinking about putting 19" wheels on my 2002 996 Carrera. I lowered it and was running stock 18" wheels. I am concern about rubbing and fitment. Anyone do this?? Any advice would be great. Thanks.

I installed 19's on my 01 which is lowered on springs alone and it's not to firm. I did go with Good Year F1-GS-D3 tires which have a softer side wall than some of the other low profile tires. I went with 8.5 wide on the front rims and 10 inch wide in the rear. The tires are 235/35 front and 275/30 rear and I have no rubbing or clearence issue's at all. Just be sure that the offsets on the rims you buy work well with the car.

No problems here - 19" Champions running 235/35 front and 295/30 rear, lowered on H&R springs. The standard 911 ride height looks SUV-like to my eyes after getting used to my car.
