Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Do you use the steering wheel with padel shifter and acell pedals or just the stock hand control?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If you have a Play Station 2(PS2), have the game Gran Turismo/GT3
and want to see an AWESOME RUF RGT driving, on the Gran Turismo main menu
-select 'Replay Theater'
-select 'Demonstration'
-select the very last bottom box(under "Best"/yellow boxes) RUF RGT.
Its about 4 minutes of real bad RUF 996 track driving. although this is an animation, movement, sceneries and sound are unbelievably realistic. It was done by one of the japanese PS2's GT3 driver qualifying for a racing license.
Shifting, Braking and acceleration is so realisticaly awesome!! The sound is INTOXICATING too. I would turn off the back ground music.
The car looks like a GT2 but bears the tag RGT(RUFs GT).
I wish I could drive that way.
Yup...I play that game often and my 2 favorites are the Ruf RGT and the Ruf 3400S which is a Boxster chassis with a 3.4L engine. Both are excellent vehicles....Be on the lookout for Gran Turismo 4 due out soon.....
The car in the demo completed the Complex String circuit in 4'52.716.
Go to arcade mode, select Time Trial, and scroll all the way to the end. There you will see the RGT as the car selected for the Complex String time trial.
The demo driver (K.Yamauchi) is loaded as owning the fastest time 4'52.716.
Now you can try to beat him. It took a handful of runs, but I finally beat him with a 4' 52.484.
You CAN drive like that (on a PS2).
Now go to simulation mode, select Home, then Garage. Pick a car and then go to "Run and Setting". There you can select "Complex String" in a mode where you can fine tune your settings, and race any car in your garage against the RGT.
I beat the RGT with a
RUF CTR2 ~ 4' 32
AMG CLK ~4' 31
SUPRA ~ 4' 23
Viper GTS-R ~ 4' 19
Zonda ~ 4' 12
Corvette C5R ~ 4' 12
Vertigo ~ 4' 09
Unfortunately PS2 skills do not transfer to the real world.
ervtx,
Wow, you beat Yamaguchi's time? That is some fast driving! I still have ways to go to get to that level. Do you use the steering wheel with padel shifter and acell pedals or just the stock hand control? That clip of yamaguchi I mentioned is really some great driving. Like I said, the engine sound is like the real PSE that's an option to the 996. The car bounces and skids like you would when you hit those curbs on turns. You can even see the brake rotors glowing hot during hard braking!
newport996,
I can't wait for GT4 to come out, see how much(X2) the grapshics gonna be.
I used the steering wheel and pedals. You can't feel the onset of losing grip with a contoller, so a wheel is necessary for driving on the edge. The rumble strips on the curbs actually torque the wheel some. It does seem realistic - I've got the component video out, leading to a 57" HDTV, and the sound pumping through a surround system that will get the adrenaline going, so maybe that helped my times!
Word on GT4 is awesome.
