Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm looking at a '99 C4 Cab and would appreciate some feedback on price. The Good Production date 12/98, not an early non-E-gas model. Nice color combo Nicely optioned, full leather, hardtop, power seats, 18" turbo wheels, heated seats No accident history Good mechanical history, mostly documented Glossy paint, few blemishes (other than below) The Bad Already had three owners Drivers side bolster wear 60,000 miles A few minor scratches Some stone chips on the front No litronics The Ugly Front bumper has chips and cracked paint from what looks like a parking error 3 of the four wheels have curb rash So what do you think it's worth? 40k? More? Less?

POST 2Original post

Just bought one for 48K it was in perfect condition though.....I would say it would be worth about 43K...In that condition, maybe 40K. Is it private party? I got mine at a dealer with a certified warranty....

POST 3Original post

I would make sure that you have it thoroughly checked out if you are serious about getting it. Also, isn't is due for a major 60K service. Make sure that you factor that into the price.

POST 4Original post

High 30's to low 40's. If you can get at low end, not worth it IMO. 60K miles is a lot of wear. My '99 has 19K miles.

POST 5Original post

condition is more important than mileage.........these engines go for a long time if you just change the oil........... get a ppi, at 60 k miles the brakes need to be done if they have not been already. Otherwise it is filters and plugs.......NBD.
