I also have the Tweeks gasoline filler protector and even use these things in the floor called floor mats.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

First P car i've seen with mudflaps. What's the SC on the bumper all about?

POST 3Original post

I would guess 'SuperCharged', at least based on his sig. BTW, I would suggest sending the rear bumperettes to Eric at BumperPlugs for painting.....I still have no idea why Porsche does not paint them to match on the C4S and TT.

POST 4Original post

I like your wheels. What kind are they? Don't flame me but in all honesty I can't say I like the gold accents on an AS car or the SC on the bumper, nor the mud flaps. Maybe "Carrera 4SC" on the engine lid would work better. Also, if the wheels where gold and/or the car was black, the gold accents might work better. Anyway this is just personal preference.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The wheels are Fikse Mach V 18". The mud flaps are from Tweeks for our rocky highways, they come off easy with clips. I had an 00 C4 that was AS and it chipped badly behind the wheels. I also have a motor skid plate from a similar experience with the dips in the roads beating up the engine. The gold started with gold license plate frames my wife gave me and I just kept going with the gold theme. We all try to make our cars a little different. I also have the Tweeks gasoline filler protector and even use these things in the floor called floor mats. Will

POST 6Original post

I thought this was going to be another grid girl thread... EDIT: Sorry, BTW the car is gorgeous!

POST 7Original post

36 posts, showing off your (new?) ride and already a Rennlist member. That's all very good sounding to me!

POST 8Original post

I say it looks gorgious William. The only thing I would change is to remove the SC from the bumper. I think it looks out of place there. BTW: is your car super charged? Cheers,

POST 9Original post

PIMPIN! BTW, you can get the clear bra Invinca-shield material cut to fit behind the rear wheels to protect against rocks there, I have it on my 03 C4S. At least that way you don't have mud flaps slowing you down...

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I knew I should have taken those darn mudflaps off before I took the pictures, but the respose has been interesting. I am anxiously awaiting the results of Getty's GT2 wing for the C4S and when I install that I will paint the bumperetts and may move the SC badge up to the red strip with the Carrera badge. I have the front bumper, part fenders, mirrors, door handles, lights and entire Gemballa Carbon Fiber hood covered with clear mask. I need the mud flaps to slow me down a little with the Evo Supercharger. Will

POST 12Original post

My 2 cents - Move the c in sc up to the C4S like was mentioned earlier. Only us P - car fanatics know what it means anyway. It seems to me that adding a EVO SC to a C4S brings the cost of the car very close to a TT. Why not just get a Turbo coup?? I know it's Wyoming but mud flaps on a Porsche?????? Very, very nice ride.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I almost did the turbo thing twice (good used one) but it was going to be 30 to 40 k differance and I knew what I had with my car and it was 11k more for the SC. I just don't like the side intercooler intakes either. I have about 100 into the car now but that is with 3 sets of wheels and tires (summer, winter, track). I'm going too fast as it is. Will

POST 14Original post

I know Wyoming well. Mudflaps are a prudent compromise. Wish the roads were a little more forgiving. I also agree that the SC on the bumper does not work.

POST 15Original post

I dunno, the mud flaps on an AWD p-car is reminiscent of the Paris-Dakar 959...pretty bad *** looking. Will, if you posted a pic of you car with the snow tires on, all dirty, on some crazy dirt/snow covered road, don't think many people would be questioning them. Its good to see other owners using the cars in all conditions, not just garage queens. BTW, I've heard that your car would probably be as fast or faster than TT since there is no turbo lag and a more linear torque curve

POST 16Original post

i thought i was going to see a hot girl's a$$ ... oh well i guess this will just have to do

POST 17Original post

Car needs something....let me see......Yes, I think these will do just fine:

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Give me a break. Im slapping stuff on this car as fast as I can. I doubt the car is as fast as a turbo but fast enough for me. And yes, I have had the car covered with mud and in the snow (Perelli Winter Sports on 265's on the back instead of 295's). I promise to take the mud flaps off for the summer. Will

POST 19Original post

Well since you asked the question..... Honestly I thought the only place I would see a "gold package" on a Porsche would be here in New York or in a rap video. Having lived in Denver for 7 years and travelling Wyoming rather frequently I'm even more surprised! But as long as you like it, that's what counts...
