Try using bulbs with a brass base...or if that is what you are using try the aluminum base ones.

Just wanted to drop by and say hello.
Took a Gallardo for a test drive last week, decided I couldnt live without it, so I took it home.
Have had to change both bulbs in the brake light in just a week. my mechanic says its a design flaw. Too much heat on bulbs
Man I Miss My PCar....Always knowing that it will start...no funky lights coming on, etc.

We should all have your problem. Try using bulbs with a brass base...or if that is what you are using try the aluminum base ones. Some cars (BMW) prefer one over the other for some reason (but I forget which).

PS- Marlinspike - Thanks for your input on the bulbs. As a paid member here, I felt it was ok to post since it will be my last until I get another Porsche AND I thought we all appreciated sports cars. Attention *****...Maybe I am! Starring in one of the hottest shows on the Las Vegas Strip can turn even a normal hard working guy like me into an attention loving a@#hole. Thanks again!
Congrats! The Gallardo is a looker for sure. As a friend put it, they look like they're speeding even when stopped.
You may try different brands of bulbs or maybe even LED bulbs although the success (or usually not) of LED bulbs depends on the angle/reflectors inside the housing. Of course a poorly-focused/aimed LED bulb is better than no bulb. Forget the ones on fleaBay. If you are seriously interested/desperate, I can dig up some info.
congrats on the new car! Too bad about the issues though. a friend of mine has a Gallardo and he has had the motor redone already with about 2500 miles on the car..

I read an article in the LA times about vegas acts renting out these stages at the hotels, and trying to sell enough tickets to cover the costs. I'm thinking this is that kind of deal, no?

My girlfriend was badgering me to go to Vegas but I was getting bored of the same stuff (walk thru casinos, dance in clubs etc. I hate gambling!!). Now I'm actually looking forward to the vegas trip over the coming long weekend !!! Cool !

Actually, I do produce the show myself. This is my 4th show in Vegas. 2 made money, 2 I lost my ***. If it was easy, I guess everyone would do it.
You are talking about 4 walling. Its where someone rents a room, covers all advertising, union and any other expense.
It does happen here, but not so much on the Strip. Lots of downtown hotels and off strip properties do that. Very risky because most shows here do not make money. A few years ago anyone with money could have a show.
Most arrangements are 2 wall deals. This is where you are contracted and split expenses with the hotel. Hopefully you turn a profit. I have been very lucky.
Our show sells out 5 of 7 nites a week, thankfully. Keeps me eating.
