Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

To mate up to the velcro fastening system in my 2002?

POST 3Original post

Mine came with a much better clip system that is similar to what the 993 had. It included everything. It is a far superior system than the velco.

POST 4Original post

No velcro. As Brian says they have a "clip" system that attaches to the seat mounts. Works quite nice.

POST 5Original post

How do you use the clip system? The 2002 911 my dad bought came with mats, the sticker mentioned mats, but through my astuteness (looking under one of the back ones) I realized the ones in the car are lloyd mats...plus I say they had some sort of hook thing going. They don't slide around but still if there is a hook there I ought to use it. Thanks, Richard

POST 6Original post

You remove the cover for the "seat slides" and put in the hook. It fits snugle over a bolt. Put the cover back, clip in the mat and you are done. Will never slip on you
