Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
These cars are in a differnt league, they are true exotics, unlike our run of the mill Porsches.
Leading evidence: 'Run of the mill porsches' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run of the mill porsches' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Boy was it ever fast, the throttle response amazing. Its my bro's car and he's had it for a year, and it was only my 2nd time in it
Its an 03 Murcielago. After driving it, I couldn't believe how quiet my 996 cab was compared to that.
We decided to have a little fun and ran side by side while moving in 2nd gear and punched it. I have to say he didn't smoke me, but when i switched to 3rd at 7k, it seemed like i was standing still when he just kept going. He didn't even get to third when we let off. At that point I think we were around 70 miles.
Here's a pic of his car!
One thing I can say, its a person magnet. Doesn't matter if their old, young, or hot :P
Everywhere we stopped, someone is coming by to ask questions or take pictures.
I listen to my bro answer their questions, and he's like abrupt. I ask him why, and he says if he doesn't he can't get anywhere.
rcg,
Lambos have come a long way since Audi took over. Lambos are still hand built, but they're hand built the same way every time now with much, much better components now. Some people go so far as to complain about the fact that so many parts are stolen from Audi now..
Justin
Great story. Thanks for sharing. I'd love to take one for a drive. They are definately people magnets. I think about it parked in front of my office instead of the P-Car. The P-Car is pushing it a bit, a Lambo would be completely outrageous.
This is one of the ultimate cars : Italian heritage, German reliability and Belgian design (I studied with Luk Donkerwolcke, the designer).
Have a friend who owns a Gallordo and recently was lucky enough to check out a Murci Roadster.
These cars are in a differnt league, they are true exotics, unlike our run of the mill Porsches.
I'd take one in a heartbeat over my car. I'm a financially conservative guy though and only pay cash for toys. So Lambo will have to wait for nother decade
Sorry to see some of the lame reactions above. Together with the Zonda I consider the lambo a true personification of the ultimate dreamcar. And yeah - let's not forget about Koenigsegg
No No, Troy...
You can't park that outside your work place!
The trucks will then just roll up and over it this time!
(Sorry, just kidding!)
Very Nice indeed.
I've seen lots of those at the hotel garage where I work.
Wow. great looking Murci. I feel the same as some of the above folks re: the gallardo. IMO the gallardo has got to be my all-time favorite from a strictly aesthetic perspective.
Great car and great appreciation for craftsmanship and engineering. Can't believe some of the neg responses. Glad you enjoyed the ride - life is too short!
you can bitch whatever you want
.....the lambo Murc... is a KILLER!!
Looks, performance and OH did I mention LOOKS!!!
Poseur car???
WTF.....the car is so fast and so mean looking.
....and I don't really think that when you are able to own one you really care much about maintenance...I wouldn't.
The gallardo is nice.
...see them here everyday in the OC in SOCAL......but not as nice as the Murc.
Ofcourse I wouldn't say no to a Gallardo either..untill then...I have to stick to my little P, I guess it's better than a Honda Prelude.
Fast and sexy, what more could a man ask for? Id give my car and my left nut (its smaller) for a car like that even if it doesnt have clear sidemarkers.
I can appreciate all fine auto's and think the Lambo was one of my first lusts with P-cars. I was just infomed this week that a biz associate just purchased a 07 saleen s7 twin turbo for 768k out the door! Wow-seems a little crazy but we are going to meet soon and check it out- I will post pics and a descriptive post.
Of course when I told the wife that we were going to meet for lunch and check out the car and what it cost ect. she went off why he wouldnt build a school for poor kids or something- I guess if I ever have the cash for a car like that I am going to have a hard time getting her to let me part with it
You guy's realize that a used Gallardo is only 135,000 on a lease they are 1300K very affordable. Don L Leasing has one for 1350K a month. Plus you get a reliable Audi...
I like the Murci much better than the Gallardo which is just way to hardedged for me. And I know everyone on this post would take a Lambo. Part of the problem is that many of the people who get them act like poseurs, but the cars hardly are.
But frankly, why not get the 'new' original guts with a teutonic shell? Yes, I'm talking about the Audi R8. Saw one in their showroom on Park Ave the other day. Holy moly! The car is frighteningly seductive, has a sleek understated by elegant race appeal, huge air intakes which just look awesome, and a very low slung stance. Yes, I'm ashamed to say it, but Audi's performance in LMP1 is definitely having an impact on me. I could definitely add the R8 to the fleet. I guess the true question is: R8 or 996 turbo?
That's all personal opinion. Ones not worse than the other. I personally prefer Ferrari, but I'd consider both if I was looking at cars in that range since I like both brands.
I was checking out a Merci Roadster last weekend. That thing was absolutely beautiful. What a mean looking thing. Can only imagine seeing it come down the highway. Apparently a Blazer just bought it. Not that I could afford it. Used it was still around $360k.
not even a comparison... the lambo murc is seriously hollywood.
i mean it's like walking thru the mall as the latest american idol 5-mins of fame on tv dude (911) to cruising with your entourage as 2pac (murc)
