Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

26 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Finally took off the winter tires and rubber. I washed the 996 and put the Champions back on. Bring on the warm weather!! (Pics for Tim) Note the chunk I took out of my spoiler lip on ice in my driveway last month..

POST 2Original post

Looks great. Looks like a brand new car Never would have thought it's 5 year old

POST 3Original post

brrrrrrrrrrrrr Still looks cold - no leaves on trees - no blue in sky You're not in California are you......

POST 4Original post

Oh Great!! now we're gonna get the snow stom of the Century

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The heartland baby!!! No fruits and nuts here......

POST 6Original post

..yeah, obviously you've not seen the snow in my yard... I get the car out for a few days and all hell breaks lose in the snow department. I'm hoping for a thaw so that I can get the car back out later in the week.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It hit 70 again yesterday. That weather is probably headed your way.

POST 8Original post

You have one great car Ray! Thanks for sharing the pics. I had my first "top down" ride for the season today. Oh I'm loving it!

POST 9Original post

ahhhhhhh what a difference 1500 miles makes pic taken last week in Malibu...sorry but hey I love Chicago pizza!

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No Pizza talk!!! I'm trying to get back into triathlon shape. My fragile male ego doesn't like getting passed by girls!!

POST 11Original post

you did it up right ray... gt3, gt2 hybrid look without the gt1 engine looks clean - you actually have a bit more credibility with me now for whatever that's worth

POST 13Original post

Ray - nice pics of a great looking car. Thanks for posting them. I guess I don't remember ever seeing pics of your 996. I get used to seeing your avatar with a red P-car (I know it's a 986) so I always inagine you with a red 996. If I go back and check all of your posts and don't see any previous pics posted by you.... there is going to be HELL to pay! BTW - where in the Blue Hell is Dell? Is he still hanging out with the GT3 boys?

POST 14Original post

Triathlon shape... so what is your tri-ride? I ride a Kuota Kalibur. I like to think of it as the RS Spyder of bicycles. Lots of carbon and light weight alloys, great aerodynamics, if only the engine were up to proper specs

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Check out the "Show us your 996" thread you'll find my pics in there (sans rear wing). I think Dell's been busy giving the GT3 guys new tire reports.

POST 16Original post

sorry for you guys NOT in California... but it's been pretty warm here to some time......... Cab is the way to go....... whooooo Hooooooo1

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Unbelieveable!!! I ride the same bike!! I don't have the Zip 808's (yet) but my bike looks remarkably similar to yours. I'll take a few pics and post them later.

POST 19Original post

Hi Ray sorry about that...the only exercise I get is whenever I have to use my right arm to shift. But you know what else I love about chicago besides the pizza???? Chicago women....just started dating one who moved here recently and just blown away how nice and down to earth she is and she is gorgeous! Night and day to some of these LA women for sure.

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They're both good (Chicago women & pizza). Gino's East is my favorite chicago pie............(pizza that is)?

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Rob, when is your first race? My first for the year is in May.

POST 22Original post

Ray - Robs tires are "Zipp-ier" than your tires!

POST 23Original post

OK, OK, you're "off the hook!" Damn, and I was looking forward to giving you some **** about the pics!

POST 24 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes they are, he's got well over $1K invested in those wheels alone. I want his Zipp's....

POST 25Original post

WOW, One Grand on bicycle tires? F*ck that! If I had that bike, it would sit in my garage collecting dust and would probably fall over once per year and bang into the Pcar and scratch the paint, so the tires would end up costing me a total of $3K. Damn, I just saved 3 big ones by not having a bike. What should I get for the P-car with those savings?

POST 26Original post

The warm weather isn't here yet. Hopefully tomorrow and this weekend. I got a foot of snow last week and about half of it is still in my driveway. My p-car is still sleeping in the garage.
