Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The nav system is very easy to use but have found that the Nav Disks are way out of date (2005) and I just installed it last month.

Love the setup and easy use, extremely user friendly, but the voice command on it sucks and we never use it.

Its the same company that Eclipse uses for there nav systems.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Pioneer's AVIC-N3 In-Dash DVD Multimedia AV Navigation Receiver
Pioneer AVIC-N3
I had a couple different nav systems and I this one has some fun goodies
More info on what I think.
I have had a couple different nav systems. One was hand held and sucked. Just too small. My wife has one in her Lexus RX. Its the latest gen Nav that has higher rez than any other nav on the market right now. Love the setup and easy use, extremely user friendly, but the voice command on it sucks and we never use it. Its the same company that Eclipse uses for there nav systems.
I thought about going with the Eclipse because of the Nav system being the same as Lexus, but it didn't have the higher rez and was 700 dollars more. The sale guy had an older Pioneer and talked it up.
The Pioneer is great. I love the extra gadgets to. You can see your G's you pull or side load G's. There are a bunch other. That fun to play with. I personally think it's the best system on the market. The nav system is very easy to use but have found that the Nav Disks are way out of date (2005) and I just installed it last month. The only prob that is not a big deal is there is no hard drive so it only keeps about 2.5-3 square miles in memory so if you go off track it can't reroute you unless the disk is in. I leave the dick in all the time and use the Ipod connect to play all my cd's that I have.
Also I have the XM/w Traffic. Its sweeeet
It was only $100 more than the standard XM receiver. I highly recommend it in DC and only costs 3 buck more a month.
I highly recommend one go with all Pioneer add-ons like the GEX-P10XMT, CD-IB100II. It's worth the extra few dollars to get perfect integration.
I did not go with the hands free kit being that the one in the Lexus sucks and I don't have any faith in it yet...
One other thing that I find not as good as the Eclipse is when you use the touch screen. It takes a firm finger touch, but thats about the only I dislike. It's a fun toy and was a great up grade.
Install was straight forward for circuit city about 4-5 hours and when I go to sell it they will take it out and put it back to stock for free. I have the HiFi system so he did have to cut some amp wires, but I was able to keep the stock amp and speakers.
It sounds 10x better just with the newer head unit. The quality of sound is much improved.
I have a tip and trick that lets you watch movies while moving and use the nav system to. I don't watch the movies but the pax can. It also won't void warranty. Its pretty trick. Check out this site

I went with the Pioneer AVIC Z1. Wonderful machine. Requires a little more modification than a single DIN unit - you need to move the A/C controls down, which costs under $20 for the bits needed and cut a bit of plastic, but it's surprisingly easy. There are instructions posted elsewhere on this forum, and you might also want to check out

I like the Alpine touch screen. Looks so much nicer than the others in my opinion- actually looks oem. The units that have the motorized screen look out of place, and they seem more fragile.
I went Kenwood...I liked them better than the Pioneers, have the best Nav I have seen...flash based, not DVD based and you can download updates and install via SD card. simple....also has all the features that are now pretty standard, satellite radio Sirius and XM, iPod control, traffic avoidance, bluetooth, plays dvds, is touchscreen, etc.....and the audio sounds amazing....I have the DDX7015, but the current unit is the DDX 6019, 7019, or 8019. They just came out and have the high speed iPod interface...if it didnt say Kenwood at the bottom, you would swear it was factory...
