Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I may have the opportunity to pick up a used set of ROW M030 for $300...is it worth it? I know that most people that get them love them. How much should I expect to pay an Indy to install? The guy selling them took them off to put on PSS9's. Thanks, DS

POST 2Original post

Not sure if that price is good or bad but it sounds like a steal. I have the ROW on my car and I did not on my previous 996. Night and day difference in handling. No more floating. The car is solid and stable as a rock. At the track it's magical. I say go for it!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Gator. I've reached out to seller, I agree, seems like a good deal since they are $1,200 new. DS

POST 4Original post

Does that include the sways? PSS9's are just the struts.

POST 5Original post

How many miles on the shocks? Might not be that great of a deal if high mileage. You may also need new rear drop links...

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seller advised: - Front and rear struts - Front and rear springs - Front and rear sway bars including mounting bushings. Not sure on mileage, I'll post back when I hear...any number that would be ridiculous? Why new droplinks Chsu?

POST 7Original post

That sounds like a really good deal that includes all the parts. Couple of other things to think about : All the pieces will have a three dot color code. If it's RoW, all the pieces will have a green dot, the other two colors will indicate coupe, cab or targa and tip versus manual. Do a search and you should find a breakdown. So if the car it came off of is different than yours, it might make a slight difference. As Gator said, the RoW M030 suspension makes a big difference. I love mine.

POST 8Original post

My drop links worked fine when swapping to ROW M030 (MY02 C2).

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the info Down South, wasn't aware of the color coding, I'll try and hunt down that info. Lerxst, thanks for the info as well. DS

Just the springs and sways would be easily worth that and they are generally non-wear items for these cars. Do you know how many miles are on them? Although drop links are compatible with stock OEM, they are cheap enough and eventually go out so this might be a good time if you're into PM or just wait til they go out.

POST 12Original post

IMO it's a good price for good pieces, for a street car.

POST 13Original post

I have a set with 30k miles on it in a box here in ft lauderdale, if you want them, they are yours for free. but I'll not ship it. no sway bar so far but I have a set of gt3 sway going in soon so there is hope

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Philoo, PM sent. The original seller has not responded to my e-mails or call, so not sure if he sold or if he's just out of town. Thanks, DS
