I don't think you need it with an 03', but if you do... look under the frunk or hood and see if it is on the options sticker, if not it may be in your owners booklet on an inside cover.

I've disconnected the battery a few times without issue and had the radio out to repair the sim tray. I'm guessing it's paired to the ecu, so code not required. Sure they'll be more info on that if you search.

Sometimes they are written in the manual, if you have it, or on the options sticker under the hood. Mine was written on the options sticker, FYI.

Yea the radio code should be in your Radio-User-Manual, mine was in there. Since I also have a NAV system, I have 2 codes, one for the radio and one for the NAV.

I don't think it is needed on the 03. I've had my battery disconnected on several occasions and have never had an issue or been asked to enter a code

In the end the comments about not needing a code were correct and I simply powered the car up again and the radio was working. I did lose all of the current trip info though - no big deal as I will be filling up on Saturday in any case. Sent from my iPhone using Rennlist
