Suggestion

In Seattle the drivers run around with their head in a recycle bin full of coffee grounds, so driving is pushing their MAX brain power (some exclusions of coarse..my fellow RL's from here) Anything other than mostly cloudy and 65 degrees = severe weather conditions, an hour special on the news and panic run a muck with massive gridlock from the ones that barely survived the ordeal....GAWD!!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm considering getting a 996 Cab. Does anyone have any advice on how this car handles snow? Of course I'd be putting winter tires on it...

POST 2Original post

Yup - it'll handle the snow awesome, with some good tires. You have the weight of the engine sitting on the drive wheels, so it'll do great.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

HAHAH, my 82 doesn't even have heat.. so I figure this cab will be just toasty in comparison!

Is your avatar is your current car... I LOVE IT ! I just bought snow tires (blizzak's) for my C2 and I am not sure about a snow drive, but might consider it if the traffic is light. Taking a vehicle of any kind out on the road when it snows is a big gamble.. although with my max coverage insurance...it could be a well planned suspension replacement

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, it is my avatar.. I'll be selling my Audi A6 Quattro. That thing is a beast in the snow. The more snow, the better! This is Ruby... from the Avatar..
