Suggestion
It would be nice to see what we're starting with here so we can recommend an appropriate wing.

I would've recommended the OEM Aerokit Cup I (taco) wing but with your updated headlights the OEM Aerokit Cup II wing seems more

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey guys
I thinking of buying a rear wing .
The problem is ......cant make up my mind .
Can not make a decision either GT2 style wing or carrera oem wing ?
my ride is a 99 c2 ,the GT2 wing looks to big for the narrow body &
the oem carrera wing looks to small [ the carrera oem wing looks good on
the cab ] ........can't make a decision
PLEASE ..... OPINIONS.........ADVICE .......PICS ......EXPERIENCE

In general, I don't like the wings. I like the rear-end un-adorned! When looking for my P-car, I actually passed on two that had all of the "goodies" I wanted, but both had wings, so they got scratched off the list!
However, cars that have the other parts (i.e. have been lowered, front spoiler, side skirts) to go along with that the wing, makes for a complete package. A wing by itself just seems to be out of place, IMO.
But, just as with the choice of the color, it's all a matter of personal preference.

Shane,
Can you post pictures of your car? Do you have the Aerokit I front bumper and sideskirts or is your car stock? It would be nice to see what we're starting with here so we can recommend an appropriate wing.
I have the GT2 Wing on my C2
This wing is from Misha at 996wings.com. We sell them. Here is more pics -

Also dont mean to step in...but if you do like the NEW AGE GT3 wing, I have 1 replica instock from 996wings that I did not use on my car for $900.
Very nice Shane! The OEM Aerokit Cup II wing will definitely compliment the bumper. Even Misha's wing (GT3ish) would look really good. I think the OEM Carrera Aero Wing (for the cab) would be too small in relation to the rest of the car, IMHO.
BTW, your car is a '99 -- how hard was the headlight conversion? Are you happy with it? Does it do the auto-levelling like the factory installed Litronics? I would've recommended the OEM Aerokit Cup I (taco) wing but with your updated headlights the OEM Aerokit Cup II wing seems more
correct
.
Cheers,
THANKS GUYS
Could not agree more ....the oem carrera wing looks to small for my car .
It started as post 01 front end upgrade.....then h&r coilovers.....then PSE
...then the sport seats ....b&m ssk.....alloy trim rings for the speedo cluster.
carbon fiber shifter.....alloy pedals.........where do i stop ?
Yes my car is a 99 c2 ,the headlights auto levelling system works great.
Local shop did it for me .........the only problem they had was getting the hdlts plugs.
The change the xenons made .......night and day .
