I'm going to replace my Michelin Pilot Sports with S-02A's when they need replacing.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I live in North Carolina and have a 2003 C4S Cab. My rear tires are worn down, and I need to get a new set of tires for the car.
The car came with 18" Bridgestone Potenza S-02A tires, (Front 225/40, Rear 285/30, ZR18's) and I was never too crazy about them, as they are extremely loud.
I am looking for a great all round tire that gives a quieter ride, yet provides good performance.
Can anyone make any recommendations?
All tires get noisy when they wear down. I had continentals and they were screaming when the tread got to the wear bars. I just got Potenza S-OSA'S and they are very quiet. Keep in mind you have to maintain the same tires on all fours, no mixing. In any event I recommend the tirerack for your tire needs.
My car is a 2003. It doesn't have the body style of the C4 Coupe. I put a turbo nose on it, and RUF wheels, and it looks fabulous.
Thanks for the tire advice Bob in NY, I think I'll stick with the Bridgestones and just get a new set or rear tires.
I favor Michelin Pilot Sports on my '04 C4S (widebody), not sure of your offsets/wheel size, but the Michelins outdid the 4 sets of Pirelli's I had on my '99 C2.
Unfortunately for you, the S-02A is it. I mean, it has excellent performance and is very quiet. If you want something even quieter, you'll not have anything close to its performance.
