I will be replacing the push pins with stainless hardware for added stability.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Installed Friday night. Looks great. I trimmed mine a bit more and made a few specific incisions to aid in positioning on the nose. It looks great. I need to evaluate if it is redirecting air away from the brake cooling ducts. I think there is a good chance it is. Stay tuned... ...other than that, I looks amazing. Better pics later when the ride is clean. Chad

POST 2Original post

Chad and Dell, Make sure you double check the tightness of those stupid push pin clips... My supercup spoiler blew off today at 90+ mph... Looks like I'll be giving Racers Group another call... I am still very partial to the supercup lip over the GT3 MK2 lip... Seems like the GT3 lip is not wide enough for the MK1 nose... could just be the camera angle? FWIW, I think I will bolt/screw the next one on. Having a lip fly off at the track would not be a good thing, and I wasn't having very many scraping problems.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This spoiler comes with 3M tape on it. I will be replacing the push pins with stainless hardware for added stability. You have to modify this spoiler to make it fit properly. What's great is where it tucks in under the front corner of each side. It fits beautifully. Chad

POST 4Original post

Ture, the Supercup lip is not as wide as the TRG lip but it fits nicely and it fits just as it does on the GT3 (mk2).

POST 6Original post

BTW, just bought another one for $120... This is probably one of those cases where the pics don't do justice to the GT3 lip... You guys don't seem to be on the fence with your enthusiasm... I'll post some close-up shots of the TRG lip once I get the new one mounted. Cheers

Itradem, Does you lip carry a part#? Ciao, Johannes E.

POST 10Original post

CHOI......In what way? Please clarify your comment b/c it's doesn't make sense.

POST 11Original post

How the hell do you guys plan on keeping this thing on and undamaged? I mean, my car's lowered to GT3 specs, and I already have to be VERY careful about what driveways I use. If I put this thing on (which I think looks great, BTW), I just know it's going to be a very "temporary" installation.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is his usual routine. Chad

POST 13Original post

Since I don't have the car slammed a la GT3 I have a bit more room to work with. Still, there is a trade-off in ground clearnance. I have about 6" to work with (pic attached). I actually like it this way b/c it forces me to be more careful with curbs, driveways, parking spots, etc. My suspension is the RoWM030 so my car lowered about 20mm in the front and 10mm in the rear which I'm sure isn't as agressive as yours. I guess you just have to pick your battles with these cars
