Suggestion

My guess is that the guy had to run a little smaller on the tires to fit since maybe the offsets are not an ideal fitment.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 2Original post

Sorry, I can't help you with the size, but they appear to be on a Boxster S.

POST 4Original post

Have them read the tire size to you AND the rim size/offset from the rim so you know they fit the 996 properly.

POST 7Original post

Kevin H., I believe you are right. My mistake.

POST 8Original post

They are 19" and by the looks of the tire bulge I would say its a 10.5 or 11" wheel. IMO it looks as if they put a small 275/30 tire on a 11" wheel, and thats why you may not look as it fill out the wheel well. As far as would it fit your car you would have to find out the offset. C2, Boxster, and C4S all have different rear offsets.

POST 9Original post

I think those are Champion RG5 Monolites on a Boxster - probably 19".

POST 10Original post

Looks like a TT or C4S. Upon blowing up picture, the brakes look too big to be a Boxster S or C2 (which are 299mm). The wheels sure look like Champion RG5s. My guess is 19x11ET40 since my 285s on my 18x10s RG5s are a very tight squeeze not stretched out like that. Probably also 285s or max 295s but on 11s. My guess is that the guy had to run a little smaller on the tires to fit since maybe the offsets are not an ideal fitment. The Tequipment 11 wheels are ET63. http://www.championmotorsport.com/wheels/rg5_19.htm http://www2.uk.porsche.com/english/g...dertabelle.htm

POST 11Original post

C4S doesn't have intakes in front of the wheel opening. But I think you may be correct about the wheel model.
