Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I am still on the fence as to whether I use Fabspeed Mufflers for street driving and use the by pass pipes for track and autocross.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Seriously considering these muffler deletes. I have a couple questions. Is the noise ridiculous like an off-road H-Pipe? Is there a noticable power increase or is it mostly a weight loss advantage? More concerned about the noise factor.
I have had mine on the car for over a year now. I love them. I removed them once, but put them back on just because I missed the roar. And they do roar. My car at the time was a daily driver...and I found it tolerable. I am not sure what an off-road Hpipe is...I am unable to give you a comparison. (If you haven't been out to Fabspeeds site, I recommend you do so as they have a sound clip...you can get an "idea" from that. )
Power increase...no...none. Weight loss, YES!! Between 55 and 60lbs! So that could equate to some.
If you are sitting in the back seat, there is a slight resonance at 3100 rpms...but its rare that anyone is back there. Other than losing the weight of your mufflers, there isn't much performance gain. Which is really the best part, because most aftermarket mufflers do not provide any gain either and cost three to four times the price.
When you are on it, it's one of the craziest, best sounds ever! The burble is cool...they are just terrific. The ones from Fabspeed are very well made.
I'm not sure where you are located, but see if someone in your area has them that you can listen to.
I just put mine on my GT3 last weekend. You do save weight, as for power I has noticed none, if any maybe some loss in torgue in the lower RPM range. As for sound it is loud. Driving along at 2500-3500 rpms it is not bad, but as soon as you give it any throttle the sound is amazing. At 5000 to 7000 rpms it is like a Cup car on the track. With the windows closed you can talk on your cell phone or listen to the crappy OEM stereo. I am still on the fence as to whether I use Fabspeed Mufflers for street driving and use the by pass pipes for track and autocross. I still need to drive around a bit more before I can make that decision. You will get alot stares from people. My car is not a daily driver, so you might want to consider that also.
If you're worried about the noise, they're not right for you.
The sound is amazing, but most people can't live with the volume level. It's louder than you think it'll be.
The local police followed me home the other night, stopped at the end of my driveway and watched me park the car in the garage, then slowly drove off.
I ran with a set of by pass pipe in Pocono last month.
The sound is too loud for me for street driving. However, it is sweet on the track.
I don't know whether its less weight or more horse power, but I need to shift to fifth on the bowl or banking earlier than before the pipes. This helps in lap time (I think).
Its a lot easier to do heel toe with the pipes.
Yeah I think the intake/chip seems like a better choice for me. Occasionally hit the bars and don't need any extra attention from the authorities. THanks for your responses
