Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I went back and checked my records and discovered that I did buy the MAF from AutohauzAZ.

I had 1123 as well and cleaned the MAF every couple of months for a while only to continue to get CE lights.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Bill,
My car began showing occasional 1123 codes in certain situations - usually after interstate cruise followed by a stop on an exit ramp. Those codes became more frequent and were eventually teamed with 1125 codes. Replacing the MAF fixed the problem, and also cured some weird surging at idle and part throttle. Suggest you replace the MAF, clear the codes, and enjoy the car. I found the best price at
http://www.autopartsworld.com/
but check around, there may be better prices elsewhere.
Doug,
Thanks for the info. I kind of figured that was the problem but was hoping for a cheaper fix!!!! Not likely with a Porsche. I checked the site you sent and it lists 2 maf's. One with an electronic accelerator and one without. Forgive my ignorance but how do I know if I have an electronic accelerator??
Thanks again for your help.

Just had the exact same thing happen to me. Cleaned the MAF reinstalled a month later same codes. Just replaced the MAF with a new one. Engine runs much, much better / smoother. No codes.

Engine runs so much more smoothly now...... amazing.
(And no more CE lights)
You're right! I went back and checked my records and discovered that I did buy the MAF from AutohauzAZ. But the price in February of this year was only $166!
