Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone know who sells Arctic Silver in a spray can? I want to repair a big scratch in my shift lever, and my local body shop says he would have to charge me too much just to mix up the tiny quantity needed. Thanks, Steve

POST 2Original post

towerpaint.com recommended to me by another rennlister just give them your paint code and they will mix up a batch in a spray can or in a touch up applicator. Considering the shipping I just got both at the same time.

POST 3Original post

A spray can for touch up is better left to the pros. An applicator would be a safer way to deal with it.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have not seen an applicator yet that does not apply paint like toothpaste. If you have been around Porsches, or other sports cars, for any length of time, you probably have some skill. Removing the shift lever and lightly sanding 4 squares inches of plastic is probably a 2 on the Pelican Parts 1 to 10 scale. Thanks for the tip about Towerpaint.com. Steve
