Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Car was running great. Ended up stalling it coming into an unplowed cul-de-sac while going sideways (controlled skid). I quickly started it back while all the warning lights were still lit. Started no problem, but the temp gauge was blinking and the message said lamp failure. It was 7 degrees outside. Coolant level is good. I put it in the garage, shutdown and restarted and still had the lamp blinking. I am going to let the car cool for a while, and will check it later. Is it ok to drive? I assume thermostat and normal cooling will be fine if this is just a lamp failure? I will call dealership tomorrow but need to leave early in am and will not be able to have it checked until probably wed or thur. Thanks, Jeff

Let the car dry out and the weather warm up alittle and see what you've got!
