I installed jumpers, within the fuse panel, from the seat heat circuit to the street/parking/tail lamp circuit, left and right, to simulate Canadian style DRLs.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just installed the Hoen Xenonmatch H11 bulbs (additional high beam with bi-xenon headlights), and they are a great match with the xenons. Even though the headlights are bi-xenons (meaning both low and high beams are xenon), an additional bulb illuminates when you turn the high beams on, and the stock bulb is yellow and doesn't match the xenon light. Turn on your high beams and take a look--the bottom half of the headlight is yellow. These are a great match:

And....
You just reduced your night vision by the percentage of the blue filter to filter out some of the light spectrum and make you car look PRETTY to on-coming drivers.
Do you really think they care??

looks are all that matter
the (Minimal) tradeoff in potential illumination loss is far overweighed by the dramatically better and more 'complete' looks.
im too lazy to switch mine out, but i would
Well.....
I installed jumpers, within the fuse panel, from the seat heat circuit to the street/parking/tail lamp circuit, left and right, to simulate Canadian style DRLs.
ALL street/parking/tail/brake lamps, including high mount, are now LEDs, including the European 5 watt DRL halogen incandescent just beside the HB bulb which are now 1 Watt luxeon leds.
The front sidelights are green to match the car color except for turning signal when it flashes to amber.
Also extended the brake lamp (note, not BULB, LAMP) circuit to the rear fog lamp sockets, left and right, so cars behind me get a more pronounced indication that I'm on the brakes.
Thinking of wiring a flashing strobe up to the rear fog lamp circuit just in case I really do need a rear fog lamp.
So there.........
