Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Do yourselves a favor and get out and drive, see your stale, see the USA, your smile will get broader and the car will run better.
Leading evidence: 'Run better' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run better' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just returned from my roadtrip around the USA covering 18 states in 6136 miles taling 101 hrs of seat time. Av speed for the journey was 64mph, it's not that I drive slow but road construction and small towns with 25mph limits kick the av down really quick.
Drove from LA to Birmingham and attended the PDE Masters, (my 3rd) which was really great! If you have never attended PDE consider doing so no matter your experience level, you will come away with sharpened skills.
From there I made my way up to Elkhart Lake, WI, for a PCA Chicago Region DE at Road America. Great long track, 4.3 mi with 14 turns.
From there took the northern route home via I-94 to Yellowstone.
Drove thru the weather system that parked itself over WI, ND and MT...pouring rains and steady crosswinds of 15 -20 mph with gusts to 45 coming at the car at 1 to 3 oclcck position for the better part of a day and a half of driving. Blowing so hard that on flat roads it kept my MPG av at 22 where 24/25 would have been achieved.

I realize that there are some of you that have Porsches and for whatever reason do nOt drive them very much, and I have never been able to figure out why. Do yourselves a favor and get out and drive, see your stale, see the USA, your smile will get broader and the car will run better.
Get out and drive
I also love the open road. I've made many trips from NY to Fla and to Chicago. Although not in the Porsche, but my 540i. It would be great to take the Porsche on a trip to Sky Country (Montana) or see the Rocky Mtns in Az some day. Got to plan it to make it happen.........Thanks for the post
I also drive the sh^t out of my Targa 5 Months old and 11K miles - I agree with you MJones - people should drive the P-Cars - afterall why obtain such a perfect balance of beauty and performance, only to sit in a gargage ? But Life is relative...
P.S. Nice trip....
I drove my 996 from Los Angeles to Toronto and back two years ago. It was an amazing drive. I did it in 36 hours each way, including one stop to sleep. I can't wait to do it again.
