Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

A little slow if you communicate through their web system - so use a phone.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Has anybody here used Pelican parts? Is there a discount for non-paying rennlisters like me? How about for paying rennlisters? How about for PCA members? Also, is there a difference between the Porsche brand oil filters and the Mahle?
Pelican is good. I have had a few orders from them. Their web site has good info especially for older 911s ( air cooled ). I have found slightly better prices elsewhere for certain items. I have also used performanceproducts.com , automotion.com and tweeks.com ( mid america motor works now ) . If it is a common item you can usually find it at a couple of different sites to make sure it is priced right.
I agree with man of ice , their ticket system for communication is slow to answer. They have good people at the 1-800 number.
I am still waiting for a parts list of parts I needed for a front conversion (about 8 weeks ago today) and I called them...the sales guy said he would email me a list, so I could order all missing parts...never did.....there parts are expensive!
I ordered standard maintenance items from them last month and was pleasantly surprised. The website originally indicated that I would be charged two shipping charges due to parts being in different warehouses. Even so, I placed the order.
At some point they combined the shipment and removed the second shipping charge - a few days later I had my filters, etc. As far as I'm concerned that's great service.
I just went to the Porsche dealer around the corner of my studio in Long Beach, Circle Imports, they gave me a 10% discount with my PCA membership card.
Spend about 1+K in parts...
That's what I've heard before, but according to another site I've used in the past for MB parts that also sells Porsche parts, while they sell Mahle they list Hengst as OE.
