Okay, so I've read all the discussions about this mod. Now I'm ready to get started with my 2001 C2. I don't want to seem naive here, but if its factory item, should I buy from the Porsche dealer? Seems like NOT the most cost efficient way to go. Also, I've spoken to two Porsche "indie" shops in LA, and they want to sell me on the Coilovers, etc. Kind of want to go with the general concensus here and get the ROW 030, plus a little tight on money right now. Lastly - anyone know how to post my pictures here? Many Thanks

I loved the M030 Suspension on my last 996 C2. M030 and PSE made the car come alive, it just felt right. You won't regret doing it. Buy the kit from Sunset they will have the best price on the kit. I buy all my OEM parts through Sunset have been for years great service and fast shipping. Sandoval is right on the price and location to buy your RoWM030 kit from. I ordered mine through Sunset and came to right about $1K shipped. Had it installed at my local indie for $650 and that was everything (shocks/springs/sways/etc.) as well as alignment. The kit number for your 2001 C2 is one of the following: 000-044-500-07 (6 sp coupe) -15 if CAB 000-044-500-19 (TIP Coupe) -17 if CAB

I'm starting talks with TRE Motorsports in North Hollywood. They're conveniently located for me, and I have read a lot of good reviews on them in Pelican Parts' discussion board. They seem pretty cool and honest so far...
