I've been reading the posts lately concerning the laser blockers. Any more commentary as to which company offers the best protection/product?

the SRX is more effective at picking up threats and neutralizing radar. The problem with it is that it is hard-wired and has a control unit the size of a large pack of gum. so the installer has to place wires that go from the front and rear of your car to the cockpit. then has to chose a mounting location for the control unit. While it is a "stealth" type unit you can still easily see it if you are looking for it.

The K40 is more stealthy. While not as effective as the SRX, it is still pretty effective. the only thing you see of the K40 is 2 small blue LEDs that were placed below my instrument cluster. One for front threat, and another for rear. During an alert, the appropriate LED will flash, and a voice would be heard telling you "Front K-band" for example. The K40 is controlled by a small remote control device that you could keep in your glove box. The K40 communicates to it's components via bluetooth, so install is much easier than the SRX. K40 also offers to pay for your ticket if you get caught. I hear they are pretty good and all you have to do is mail in the ticket and a copy of your check, but that does not help with insurance.
The reason I said the SRX was more effective is because it picks up threats before the K40 by about a second or two. Also. my my rear detector on the K-40 seems to have stopped functionning.
One additional thing to help you make your choice:
The SRX is non-directional. You get an alert and the strenght of the threat. It does not tell you if it's from the front or back. K-40 has one LED for front and one for back.
