Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My experience on other cars is that the antenna you have pointed out is for cell phones or satellite radio. I THINK the 911 radio antenna is embedded into the windshield, but I'm not certain. My 2003 Coupe does not have that little antenna either.
That's odd. Why do I have a rear wiper without a rear washer? Did Porsche really sell them as separate options? (Why do I even ask that question when they
continue to record massive profits?
)
There is no washer for the rear wiper for the 996 (although I wish there was). I will check again to make sure the cable is hooked up behind the head unit.
Thanks
So when the picture I posted:
Is from a FOR SALE ad, that lists rear wash
wipe
as a feature, and happens to have the same black object on the roof as the shot you posted.
And the only shots with this black object are for cars with rear wipers.
You think that's just a coincidence?
I see your point, but I have a rear wiper on my car and there is no washer nor any mention of one as optional equipment in my owners manual. I would think (hope) that if were an option, it would be part of the rear wiper package. Maybe this changed after '01. All I know is that I have fairly lousy reception and a completely useless wiper that scratches the rear window should I hit the button by mistake lol
