Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Starting the due diligence on 2001 C4 Aero in the Green Bay area. Does anyone have a recommendation for a PPI mechanic in the area? I searched the forums and found Page's Automotive as a possibility, but wondered if someone could verify or recommend another. Also, does anyone up there know anything about this car? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...84.m1423.l2649 Thanks for any help.

You might want to call these guys. http://www.bergstrompremier.com/index.htm Or arrange to have it taken down to Milwaukee.....several places down there. Also contact the Fox Valley Region PCA http://fv.pca.org/fvrpca_016.htm Looks like a nice car!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Pete. If I end up with it, looks like we'll have a lot in common except for a couple of model year's difference.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Pete, I just noticed the X1/9 in your past. Ha ha. That would be two things in common. Bought my 1977 model back in 1982. Sold it in 1984. Two years of a serious love-hate relationship. Not a car for a daily driver in a cold weather state.

There was a reason folks said Fiat stood for "Fix It Again Tony"! But that car could cut some corners......and one time I drove under a semi trailer blocking the parking lot at work so I could get some lunch.

POST 6Original post

Send a PM and ask Hacker Pschorr (sp?) He's a cheesehead living in Green Bay that might give some help.

Check out The Auto Clinic in Neenah. The owner, Gordon Skogg, is very active in the local PCA Chapter, owns a 911 Turbo, and is a great guy. [phone removed]. P.S. You'll love his dog Milton.
