Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, I have an interested party who is considering buying my wheels: Porsche 997 Carrera III: Front: 8Jx18 ET57 (running 235 width tires) Rear: 11Jx18 ET51 (running 295 width tires) Looking at the acurzine website tool the rears would stick out 6mm? Is that too much on a narrow bodied 996? http://acurazine.com/forums/tire_rim_calculator.php Thanks in advance those who run this car. Cam

They will fit fine. But the fronts will tuck in 6mm - not stick out. You can put 5 or 7mm spacers on front for cosmetic reasons but not necessary

Are you sure? Based on what narrow bodied wheel size? The online calculators are showing that the wheels would stick out...not be recessed. I'm confused! Fronts show that they would recess by 6-7mm and rears would extend out by 26.7mm. Question is that enough to clear the fender?
