Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

anyone have trouble with the passenger heat button ,driver side works not passenger. 03 c4 cab

POST 2Original post

Could be the Tip switch, the fuse, the relay located under the seat, the wiring or the heated cushions themselves. Although if one of the cushions goes bad (back or seat) the other should still heat up. I would check the fuse first. It it is good then swap the Tip switch from the drivers side and see if it works. Their is a left and right side for the switch but the function and plugs are the same. If this Doesn't fix the problem the I would try the relay located under the seat. You will have to undo the four bolts that hold the seat on the tracks and tilt the seat to get at the relay. Take a look at Dennisvogle.com and check out his DIY for heated seat in a Boxster. Lots of pics etc. there.

POST 4Original post

Actually, if the system sense a break in either cushion the seat won't heat. I ended up having the replace my heating element in the seat cushion of the driver seat a couple of years ago. -Shawn

POST 5Original post

Doubt it's a fuse. That's an all or none, I think. Maybe wiring or switch.
